Dr Eric Douglas is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician practising at North Brisbane Sleep & Thoracic (Clayfield and North Lakes) and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside.
He has a special interest in lung cancer and completed a clinical fellowship in lung cancer and pulmonary nodules at Oxford University, focusing on screening, risk assessment, and early diagnosis. Dr Douglas provides timely assessment of pulmonary nodules and abnormal chest imaging, including diagnostic and staging procedures such as endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and ensures urgent cases are seen promptly.
He manages the full spectrum of respiratory and sleep conditions, including obstructive sleep apnoea, asthma, COPD, chronic cough, and unexplained breathlessness. His approach emphasises clear communication, practical, evidence-based care, and close collaboration with referring clinicians.
